HOPE & HELP
FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME

How do you help victims of crime?

Serving and protecting victims of crime is our top priority.  We believe that the very best thing we can do for victims of crime is to try to correct whatever thinking and/or behaviors led to the crime that was committed against them and try to eliminate or reduce future victimization.

We also recognize that victims of crime do not feel that they are being served well the way the justice system is currently functioning.

Why would anyone want to meet with the person who committed a crime against them or someone they love?

I have personally witnessed and have also heard others’ stories of the healing that comes when a victim of crime talks with the person who committed the offense.

This is a very personal decision that each person should consider carefully.
